there are finally some non-japanese events going on, but nothing too interesting
you can get a lightningrod pikachu by ordering B2/W2 from Amazon.co.uk (potentially only valid to residents of the UK, I'm not sure) and a light metal scizor if you participate in a pokemon league in america

haven't been keeping up with events lately, looks like NA is still pretty much in the dark
if you purchase the new games at walmart you can choose one of the sinnoh starters (turtwig, chimchar, piplup) with their hidden ability
there's also a gothorita but I'm not quite sure how it's obtained so I'll get back to that
got quite a bit of OP updating to do, looks like most of the images broke in the last month and the global link section is terribly behind so I'll get on that soon
