in fact I'm pretty sure this is the first wi-fi/wireless event outside of japan since genesect was offered for the B2/W2 release (not including pokemon from tournament events)

I feel like they're trying to move away from normal events and get people into the global link because there have been no shortage of those at all

yes but if you have gotten b2/w2 earlyer (around october 7th to like nov 10 /12) you could have gotten geno

wi-fi battling sucks

you have to choose between three flat-leveled or six as-is and on top of that your opponent gets to see all of your pokemon before the battle starts
