Last week I did a few random matchup battles and had my funniest experience in Pokemon thus far It started with my Forretress vs. my opponent's Roserade, he switched out to Infernape as I laid down Stealth Rocks (entry hazards are probably pointless in 3v3 but idc) and tried to Flare Blitz me, but Sturdy left me with 1hp so with all the recoil he received I took it out with a critical Earthquake Then he sends out Metagross and finishes me off with a Hammer Arm (which lowers his speed, though I don't think it would've mattered in the end), so I send out Zoroark (disguised as Gliscor) and use Nasty Plot (which honestly should've tipped him off), Metagross uses Zen Headbutt which does absolutely no damage since I'm secretly Dark and I one-shot both Metagross and Roserade with Flamethrower I just wish I could've seen the look on his face, not to mention know if he realized what happened or if he thought I had a hacked Gliscor since Zoroark never lost his Illusion tl;dr -- Sturdy Forretress KO'd Infernape thanks to recoil, Metagross fell for Zoroark's Illusion and doomed the team |
