An additional Mega Pokemon was revealed by Masuda at the VGC Opening Ceremony; MegaKangaskhan. It has an ability called Parental Bond, likely because of its baby being grown up enough to leave the pouch, which allows its attacks to hit twice in one turn. So does this mean we'll get a Kangaskhan pre-evo? Or will it stay exclusive to the Mega Evolution? What about the theories of Cubone being orphaned Kangaskhans? Is it debunked or just a branch, where a baby Kangaskhan puts on a skull and evolves, like Shellder's mutation when it bites Slowpoke's tail? Only time will tell. |

Megaevolutions only take place in battle, right? Are they supposed to revert back to normal outside of the battle? If so, that adds another level of weirdness to the Pokemon Universe, if Kangaskhan can Megaevolve and it's baby leaves the pouch, and then after the battle ends, it regresses in size back to what it's like for a regular Kangaskhan. |
