You can store up to 3,000 Pokémon in cloud storage, but it does have a yearly fee of 500 yen (around $5, subject to change) to use. There will be a free trial available until January 31st. Poké Transporter allows you to use Pokémon Bank with DS games as well to transfer your Pokémon to X&Y. Pokémon Bank will detect any hacked Pokémon and prevent their transportation. As for X&Y itself, new Mega Evolutions were revealed. You will receive one (?) of the Generation 1 starters from Professor Sycamore, all of which will be able to Mega Evolve. You can see them in action here. Mega Venusaur has Thick Fat, Mega Blastoise has Mega Launcher (which boosts its moves), and Mega Charizard has Drought. A new Pokemon was also spotted for a split second during the broadcast. |

Like just to be clear here we're talking about a Pokemon that shows less results than Ninjask and Electivire. That chart shows the top 100 most used Pokemon in competitive (on Pokemon Showdown at least), ordered and colored by how well the teams they are on end up doing. Charizard shouldn't even be in the top 100 most used (he's #76), but somewhere out there, there have been people using him enough to make him used more than actually good Pokemon like Stoutland, Gothitelle, and Kyurem. And now he's getting an amazing mega evolution. The Charizard Illuminati is definitely real. |
