I bred a lot of things when the game came out and I dont think this is true sadly

I think it does, but I suppose maybe I'm just EXTREMELY unlucky? I have no idea, it only applies to Pokemon that have multiple abilities (two not including the hidden one.)

Oh if its only between the two normal abilities then maybe that would be it
Regulith:
Deposited a Porygon on the GTS asking for a Misdreavus and put in the comment that I'd really like one in a Moon Ball
Ended up getting a level 1 female in a Moon Ball with 4 perfect IVs and 4 egg moves on the second try, I don't blame the first guy because he was Japanese
Also got an Articuno for one of the Misdreavus offsprings
