If it's level 100 there's no loss anyways. If you need to reteach it something you can just go to the move relearner. As for the set, I always say this, if it works, it's good. The set up of most Pokemon are going to be different depending on the team you put them on.

Also is it a good idea to prevent flaffy from evolving?

You want to make sure you want that to be its move set. Typically, I have 2 or more attack moves, but it's personal preference. I'm telling you this because [most] stone-evolutions learn less moves from the

Other than that, there's no reason not to. Ninetales would have better stats than its pre-evolution and, in my opinion, looks cooler.

personally i like the penny method better since you don't have to have your thumb on the circle pad for hours on end trying to hatch eggs, considering if you like to breed for a long time that is
