giving a ferrothorn a choice item is about as useful as giving a rotom an air balloon

i think it'd be better to have that ferrothorn as a rocky helmet set

Choice scarf results in an increase of speed, which ferrothorn severely lacks.
Did some research on type effectiveness items. With STAB, the move surf coupled with a mystic water will deal 90 x 1.5 x 1.2 in total damagewise, which is 162 in total, times that by 15 for the number of times you can do it and you come out with 2,340 damage.
