that's because gengar has 178 speed max w/o items and purugly has 180 speed. so technically, without items, normal gengar cannot outspeed a max speed purugly.

Still going for a shiny Shinx. Hatched a total of 9 boxes so far.

I was doing this until multiple people told me that Luxray is a terrible choice as Electric type.
