1920x1200
it's the only option

My 1440x900 monitor is better. >:I

Consideration is key.
perhaps
but buying is a breaching charge

Larger monitors = more powerful GPU needed.
1280x1024 almost square monitors > all other rectangular troll monitors.

umad my superior monitor height???

it's not superior to 1200 lol

How much hdd space you got lol?

umad my superior monitor height???
my monitor is wide and has a superior height lol!!

well idc i would lag if i used big monitor like dat

square monitors suck

I traded my dad my almost square monitor for his rectangular monitor of the same size.
I traded it back because I hated it flat like that, even with its features.

it's not superior to 1200 lol
1920x1200 is a 16:10 resolution.  1920x1080 is a 16:9 resolution, aka a "cinematic" resolution.

x1200 is only good if you want a maximum widescreen space.  It's all preference, but personally I like 1080p more.

Also, you should really only be looking at upgrading your GPU.  Your monitor is secondary.  After that you're set pretty much, your CPU is great and your RAM is amazing.

I don't do much video watching in fullscreen, and not much gaming either for that matter
usually what matters to me in terms of resolution is how much of a large image I can see without having to scroll

Like I said, preference.

ATM I'd rather have a large 1080p screen though.  That'd be nice for me.

Well, 1366x768 isn't as bad as everyone is saying, and it takes at least a HD5770 to power a 1366x768 monitor efficiently and you will be able to play most things maxed out.
A 6870 would be your absolute limit, resolution wise and CPU wise for bottlenecks. You'd max everything out at that resolution and it would provide good upgrade grounds to say 1080p down the track.
Also, Nick, that CPU isn't that great. It's old architecture.
