unable to join a friend's server

recently I've been unable to join Diorexity's server, either via RTB or the server list.
when I try with RTB it just sends challenge requests then "request timed out."
when I try with the server list it just sends punch packets, never connecting.
has anyone else experienced this? other people are able to join his server just fine.

also, his ping shows up as --- but the server isn't dead, and it still says he's hosting on RTB.

actually it is dead, his internet connection is sending out information but it can't receive it (you trying to join in this case) he needs to forward his ports i think.

i forgot to mention that others were able to join the server

then its something with your connection, not sure what though.
