Author Topic: Guys why cant i make oatmeal right ;-;  (Read 1676 times)

ew don't do that
it will get cold, cold oatmeal tastes gross
wowe this is liek basic foods 1 stuff
when the microwave goes off there are still some waves bouncing around, if you let it sit in the microwave for another minute or so more waves will get to the food and cook it a little more
that's why instant food instructions tell you to leave the food set for a few mins

unless of course you are talking about non-microwave oatmeal which is an alien concept to me and i wasted 2 mins of my time lecturing no one about microwaves

are you sure it's not so that you don't burn your tongue

because sometimes people read too deeply into things
when it's actually really simple

you...
you cant make

oatmeal?

a teacher got paid to tell me that

so either i'm telling the truth or i found out why so many schools have low funds

or maybe i wasn't paying attention very well
i'm reading up on it and it seems to be saying you let the food sit to let the temperature even out

which is kind of similar, i guess?
it still means it continues cooking

What was it Badspot once said...

"You did it wrong, you know how I knew that? Because if you had done it right it would work"

I've never seen anyone make oatmeal with water. :u
I use milk and it's yummy. :D

you dont have to add the exact amount of water, use a bit less.

i like my oatmeal thick :D
