As for Slainte,

They're fighting against the richest and most technologically advanced nations of the world.
They're fighting a four-front war, being raped on all sides.
Their people are starving.
They're pretty much bluntly ignoring tactics that didn't work (Blitzkreig, the fall of Russia in 1917, the fall of Wales).

As for Rossiya Imperii,

They are supporting Slainte with little avail.
They are being spared by Avalonia because it had been a past ally.

Erinaum:  apprx: 700k*
Barbarian mercenaries: apprx: 90k
Total:  apprx:  2.19 million.

*Means inaccurate because includes a civilian force of some sort.

More than 1 million Slainteans would have died of starvation and war by now.

50 miles where?  My walls have not yet been breached and no reports have come in.  The holes tat here being dug in the North were filled.  On the other side stands 50k EE, so you wouldn't have gotten past 25.

50 miles inward is where the forest begins, where you will have no chance whatsoever against the EE.

Actually, Swat, your troop counts are skewed so that they minimalize my army. When Caprica's pop of 6 mill had 35% military, they had over 2 mill troops. I've got 6.5 mill with 40% military. That, aided by the fact that last time I called on the barbarians, I rounded up a good million soldiers, and now I've got the backing of the far side tribes as well.

None of you protested it when we were at war last time, so you'll be hypocrites if you do now.

Riddler may have been a terrible general, leader, &c. but Stalin was probably worse, he was using the WW I strategy of "Throw men at it." During WW II. Russia could afford to loose the men though, and they did.
