I think that this "clan" was; as Ronin stated, just a gimmick. This isn't a clan, nobody should really respect someone like StoreClerk, who obviously made this "clan" to provoke a reaction from anyone who may be offended by it. You have given StoreClerk what he craves, attention, and anyone who gives him this are sad, sad people.
