1. Because a few people might do that ( i have never seen someone going around trying to convert someone to christianity or preaching randomly in my life ) does not mean all christians do, that's stereotypical.
2. As stated above i have never seen someone preaching to people outside of a church in my life, how ever i have seen Atheists and other non religious people trying to convert and forcing their views on christians so many times it is ridiculous, as in the non-christians are convaying your point much worse than christians.
But hey maybe its just Australia that doesn't do those things.
Show me the part of my post where I said every Christian ever does that. I was being just as broad as Snackbar who was basically saying that I go around punching old ladies and curb stomping cancer patients.
You don't live here in the Bible Belt of America like I do. I've seen quite a few street preachers here, but that's not even who I was talking about. Literally
98%-- not %100-- 98% of the time a Christian asks me what I believe in, they ask me why I want to suffer for eternity. They then go on to ask me why I abandoned Jesus and how much I should see the light and go back to God, and they tell me they're, "praying" for me. It's condescending, it's rude, it's bullstuff and it's annoying as all forget. I'm not saying atheists don't do the same thing, I was making the point to Snackbar that Christians are just as guilty of breaking social contract as we are.
