well then its barely noticeable, lol, did you try the maps fog color?
Yes. It's not the fog, I see the problem in every Blocko City. This is something that must be fixed by Badspot.

can't help but notice its been happening only recently ;o..

Can I beta test? ID 8932 =D

I hope that Aphtonites will show more. :D

I wasn't able to work on it the last day, I was busy learning how to export DTSes from 3DS Max, and It's a HUGE SUCCESS.
Meaning I can model more detail for this map, I'll start tommorow.

I did a little work, I'll have to go for real now though.
The map is now fully aligned to the brick grid! Here's the evidence.

Additionally, I'm planning to add some countryside to the map on the borders.

Here's some drafts of the other areas on the island (there will be three islands)
This is the harbor, It's small, but remember that I'm keeping this to quality, not quantity, lots more detail will be added later when I get the main structure of the islands done.

if someone didnt already say this, you should make that diagonal dock aligned with the rest of the studs, because the diagonal studs look stupid and you wont know where to build.

Haha, I didn't even notice that myself, yes, I agree with Aesch

also, I love the way you're using actual side brick textures aside from the textures GSF used, that was horrid

I don't like the way they're stacked exactly upon eachother however, makes it look all spammy :c

I wanted to make my own maps like this but then I realized that if I suck at building modern stuff then I'm going to suck at making it in constructor.

I think I'll just make a medieval version of something like this.

Do you mind if I see your textures? I am also wondering how you took the textures, did you take pictures of them ingame?

I like the grey, maybe you should add a tinge of green near the bottom, like moss has formed.

I was planning on this, blocko-styled moss and rocks to give it the sea shore effect.

I think it would be better you used screenshots for the billboards. I can try to take megashot screens of the cars and you could do the rest of the editing. How's that?

Also, just a suggestion, put junk cars in the rundown parts of the town :P

Yeah, that'll be great.
I'm great at graphic design, I'm hoping to make some 80's styled billboards to suit the theme.
And junk cars would be a great feature, maybe some of them could have doors ripped off, so they can be used as small shields or hiding spots in DM's?

That is possible indeed.

Took a few quickie screenshots, tell me if they are any good or not

Open them in a new window for the full resolution

They were taken with 4x megashot, then I resized them.
