Everyone has that one song. Whether it be a calm, simple background song, a fast and hectic boss track, or, hell, even the menu music, there is just one song that you love and can't get enough of. This is the thread to share that music, alerting others to the presence of that one damn good song from that damn good game on that damn good system. I'll kickstart this with some of my own personal choices:
Command and Conquer: Red Alert - CrushSay what you will about Red Alert, but if there is one thing I like about it, it's the music player. There are many memorable tracks from this RTS (the most common probably being Hell March), but Crush was always my favorite. It's the perfect battle music.
Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - The Industrial ParkBattle for Bikini Bottom was, and still is, one of my favorite games. It was fun, humorous, and challenging enough to make me toss a controller at the floor a couple of times. The music deserves special mention, because it is just so damn good. The boss music, in particular, adds that right mix of atmosphere that really livens up the bosses. On the subject of the Industrial Park, did they know it was a Spongebob game when they composed this?
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island - Castle FortressNow, unlike the other songs, I'm not going to write a paragraph for this, but I would like to mention that I could not pick a better song for a dungeon. I don't know how they do it.
