Banning someone right off the bat is comparably less fun than having a chance at freedom.

In response to the OP:
Reinforcements has a rule against using profanity in his servers. This rule is explicitly stated WHEN YOU JOIN THE SERVER. By looking at your IRC chatlog, you seem to be fond of using several words that he condones. It doesn't take a genius to guess why you were banned.

Oh loving please, there is nothing fun of trying to dodge an abusive-as-forget projectile that bans you upon contact. That kind of stuff belongs in the failbin and isn't publicly released for a reason.
And in case you forgot, I was banned for no reason. I was minding my own business.
Either way, there is absolutely nothing entertaining about the idea of admins putting players in a room and telling them to try to avoid projectiles that ban all in the name of being 'just for fun'. And I don't know about you, but I am not going to servers that think stuff like that is acceptable.
