Fake/Real? "black-aperture", possible Half-Life 3/Portal 3 - Plot merging?

Pages: << < (6/23) > >>

LeetZero:

How can they possibly combine Portal, an futuristic-nondestructed view of the world, too much that is, with Half Life 2, an post-apocalyptic zombie-combine-alien mayhem stuff.

But also, this is 100% true. Why?

Dun dun dun. I don't think any of you remembered of that Easter Egg.

...how is this relevant?

The creator of a game put in a reference to another game they made, we've known that the stories of Half-Life and Portal were intertwined for years

What I mean is that this could've possibly be hinted for future reference to combination of the two stories, and that guy may appear in HL3.

HOWEVER!

black-aperture.com was registered privately with no information given with it.
http://whois.domaintools.com/black-aperture.com
But! It was registered with the same address as the whois info on half-life3.com

Then, there's atramental-plateau.com.
http://whois.domaintools.com/atramental-plateau.com
This was registered and is hosted by a dreamhost user. It is more than likely fake.

They weren't registered with the same address. This particular web hosting and domain name registration company offers you anonymity by passing mail to you through them, so your private address doesn't show in in the registrar records. In other words, you send a letter to Network Solutions addressed to the corporation or individual you want to contact and they will send the message onto them.

It costs $10 a month and you can read about their service here: https://www.networksolutions.com/domain-name-registration/private.jsp

I believe most companies do this.
