How long was she trapped in the Science Facility... and how long was she asleep? Are they even in the same time era? Not to mention that Half Life 2 Takes Place somewhere in Russia (due to the Russian text on all the buildings) and Chell ends up in the middle of the US. Also we dont know how long the Boreallis has been abandoned, or how long it has been missing from the drydock in Portal 2

I read somewhere that most of the Half-Life 2 series takes place in eastern Europe. Specifically, Poland, Ukraine, and surrounding areas.

well the first time you hear the word "aperture" about 15 seconds into portal 1, we all knew right away that the game was a spinoff of the half life series.
why is this being debated now? lol
