| So I had a dream about a new TF2 item (TF2 weapon idea) |

I know there is a megathread, but I want to discuss the idea of this weapon in depth. So I was dreaming about playing as the soldier last night, I had some weird claymore sword thing that had some sort of black box that held batteries below the guard, the blade was charged with blue energy and shot the energy instead of rockets in a stabbing motion rather than slashing. The entire thing was about as long as the demoman's eyelander. Since I can't make models or content, and I'm not sure where to post about TF2 weapon ideas, I thought I would post it here and have people discuss it. my ideas: Reload with AA batteries? maybe it could word opposite of the equalizer? the more damage you take the less damage you do? (legend of zelda esque?) right click melee? (would this be overpowered?) So what could a name for this weapon be? what effects would you want it to have if it were made? tl;dr sword that fires energy beam rockets for soldier. |

Sounds extremely overpowered. In my opinion, the Engie needs more weapons. He gets no love. |
