First off, psilocybin is probably the closest drug in the world to LSD, their effects on the brain would be considered identical by most. Second, it's NOT a reaction to the mushrooms, it was a reaction to the psychedelic agent. I'm very sensitive when it comes to psychedelics, and the trip caused me to have 2 seizures.
I have never, ever, ever, heard anybody besides you call the effects of the two identical. They are very different chemicals, and affect you in different ways. The effects are
similar but not the same. And no, psilocybin is not the closest drug to LSD in the world, other ergotamine derivatives are.
I would also like if you would tell me the name of your condition (PM me it if you feel uncomfortable), for I would like to research it. I have never seen any mention of hallucinogens, especially psilocybin or LSD, causing seizures or any other adverse reactions that can head to death in small doses. If (and since) your condition does exist, I am happy to admit that very rarely people might have adverse reactions to psychadelics. I also thought it was somewhat self explanatory that you should stay away from drugs that haven't been prescribed by a professional if you are aware of any conditions that may affect it. Obviously you did not know yours existed, I don't think anybody would enjoy having 2 seizures.
