Knight is a decent class, hes got high vitality and pretty good strength and dex
theres also warrior (which i chose) but if you wanna be knight yeah go for it
but you can modify your character a lot, like making your knight have really high magic.

Finally got to Anor Londo and whoa the enemys are tough
but my Lightning Spear+2 will save me
currently wearing elite knight armor+4 and its going pretty good.
