I haven't found any sort of keybind for it.
You're gonna have to use FRAPS or something.

I have a benchmarking program, but it drops the framerate on blockland to 20-10 fps.

You're gonna need some pretty high specs to run a recording program and blockland and possibly other things at once.

There might be alternatives.
Hypercam, or something.
Get somebody with a high-spec computer to record for you.
Also, I hope you know how to use video editing software.

Transitions, adding music and audio clips, chroma-keying (greenscreening) and the like.

Lllllaaaaaawwwwwl, most of that stuff is really the basics. You don't need Sony Vegas to create a transition. I do have an outdated version of cs4.
