4GB is the standard now, like 2GB used to be back when 4GB was for high end users.

Most high end users will go beyond 4GB to 6-8GB.  I have 6GB because I have triple channel slots.

Either way, benchmarks for the 7470M aren't really out. At least not on notebookcheck.

I only got it for MS Paint and Minesweeper.
I use my computer for all of those and for gaming.
