The Planets : Remake [The Laterverse!]

Doubles because realization. Aphtonites. You're saying those planets are DTS shapes, correct? That means you have managed to put actual textures (Not just single color) on them. Something that I have repeatedly failed to do. May I have one of the planets? It doesn't even need to be the actual planet model or the texture. I just want a model that has a proper texture mapped to it and that works in game so the texture shows.

Texturing things isn't that hard? Just include it in the same folder as the dts bro

For me that has only worked for single colors. I never managed to get anything else to show up.

Edit: RAGE. I just figured out why my earlier attempts have failed, it works now. Oh the simplest of mistakes.. That means now I've got everything I need to finish my solar system map.

By the way OP, what do you plan on naming your map?

I won't give you a planet, but however, I'll tell you something : UV mapping.
The each planet has three textures, the terrain texture wrapped around it, the "glow", and the inside atmosphere.

This map is going to be soooooo awsoooome! All we need now is somekind of spaceships? Carrier, fighter, escort etc? Maybe i overkilled a little but that was just ''would be cool to have''....

My projects tend to die quickly and never get finished so I didn't really want to start a new thread. Since your map was quite similar I hijacked the thread for a while. If I get any more done on my map I'll start a new thread.

And could you possibly make some sort of new utopian-like planet with bunches of explorable moons? Maybe.

Also, that brings up the reality of MOONS. Jupiter has 62 moons. Urstar fish: 27. Saturn: 33. I know it might be hard to make 100+ unique little moons, but if you you could make 3-9 moons for all the planets and add the basic 4 galilean moons for Jupiter? But if you could do more that would be appreciable.

I don't think you can fade out DTS shapes without having several of them on top of each other.
