Giome - Swearing out an admin and then requests to be unbanned.

I was moderating at Tango's server when Giome decided to foul-mouth Socrates, who is both an admin and a good friend of mine.
Giome does it for no reason, and for no gain on his side.
He then responds to me in IRC
Should I go ahead and unban him, or let him wait out the six minutes?
