his previous method of bitching wasn't working, so instead of doing that he's acting like he's one of us, then being a giant dumbass everywhere in an attempt to get more people on his side
think of it like this: if you want to get public support against a group that most people don't care about, you need to give them a reason to hate them. if you masquerade as a member of said group, then start doing stuff to make them look bad, people who aren't well-informed on this whole brony drama will think "that must be one of those bronies, what a forgettard" and then start judging all bronies based on that.
