So.. Got robbed again. Is there any way to make sure my stuff DOESN'T get stolen when I don't join for a day? OR am I expected to hold all my valuables in my inventory? And i dont feel like wasting the 3 gold I have to make a door EVERY time I want to get inside my house? Maybe make a door thats lockable and a chance of finding a lockpick in chests? |

What if pirate rpg used JVS doors, but you can place a lock on them that withstands lockpicking based on the metal it's made of. On the flipside however, there should be a lockpicking skill that if your level is high enough, you can overcome these locks and open said door. So Heed, you should make lockpicks a fairly common item in chests (15% chance maybe or more) and make them level up the skill in 10% intervals every time you lock pick a door. Additionally, make the lockpick have an 80% chance of being consumed and a 20% chance of being destroyed, so that the person has to go find more. Because after all, isn't the goal of pirate rpg to make finding treasure a huge priority? That and combat, but right now all we have made is rowboats so let's just work on treasure for now. |
