They have the right to 1 month a year to celebrate their heritage after they were sold by their brethren to be slaves, and to have their children be slaves, and their children's children. They more then enough deserve it. No other race, religion or culture has suffered as much persecution, not even the Jews.

The only thing that pisses me off more than the fact that it's Black History month is the stupid commercials that all the local Baltimore TV stations throw up every year.  Always some black kid reading some black poet's poetry.

Then in my middle school we had the same stuff every day.  I loving hate poetry unless its actually good, and most of the time to me it sucks.
