What would you want to be an expert at in Blockland?

I am great at building, almost expert to eventing, I understand Torque just enough to be able to edit things to do different, I can model pretty good, I've never tried making interiors, I've never tried recording, I am okay at DMing, I am really familiar with the Blockland Physics, I've never tried mapping (I will soon) and I am good at RPing, and I am great at flying/driving. I chose scripting though, because I want to be able to create things off the top of my head instead of always having a resource right in front of me.

What's wrong with named bricks?

That's a terrible way of approaching an eventing task. The amount of extra event lines required would be far more than you would need to use the PROVIDED event type, and you'd have to relay the connections between things making it inefficient to say the least.
A true master of eventing can do something amazing with as few events as possible.

I choose scripting, because it's not just a skill for Blockland, but a skill that can be used elsewhere. I'm okay at mapping (landscapes, not interior .difs), building and events.

I don't think RPing can really be classed as something to be an 'expert' in. The principle of RPing is to follow the rules of the genre, which isn't really that difficult.

I wanna make special bricks... too bad it's not on the list.
