Is it okay that I do some of these things when I'm admin?

@First off: I do agree that people do give too harsh of punishments for such little acts. They're usually unbanned early though.
@Secondly: That's something I cannot relate to. They're having fun and it really shouldn't be bothering anyone else. Of course, it all depends on what kind of server it is. If it's anything not a freebuild or RP, then you should probably tell them to stop.
@But really: I cannot give an opinion on this as everyone has a different outlook on what an 'idiot in general' is.
@Another thing is that I never: This is good. It's a shame that not all admins are like this. It's always disappointing when I become admin at some TDM, look at the ban list, and some other admin has like 3 or 4 people perma banned who were never on the server, and the reason indicates that they simply have some kind of personal grudge with the person. I'm usually tempted to unban but that's not my job. I feel that the host should deal with unbanning people.
@Also: I try to be as helpful as I can. Some players may be younger and less experienced. For example, at the dueling server during times of activity. I stay in the lobby and answer the same questions over and over again.
@And lastly: I don't immediately ban them. I prefer to try and see why they think <name here>'s a badmin or why the server sucks. I'll try and debate with them, sway their opinion, etc.
@What's even worse: I can't seem to do this. Though sometimes I really wish I could. I just feel that whenever I'm an admin, that people are relying on me. I don't want to let anyone down. Though sometimes, there will be helpful players around that'll assist those in need, which gives me a nice break.

While I thought some of your points were just a bit harsh, you're not banning them for very long anyway so I think you're doing fine. IMO permanent bans are only necessary when someone is gets kicked/temporarily banned and they repeatedly come back to the server and cause trouble.

If people say the server sucks, i'd ask "why?"
Helpful criticism would get listened to.
If you just leave or continue to bitch or throw a crap reason, i'd ban.
My 2 pence on the last point, but they're all perfectly reasonable.
