The vast majority of the maps are relatively flat. It seems to focus more on skiing rather than a combination of skiing and jetting. The pre-determined loadouts remove any versatility and the handicapped perks/strikes throw in some annoying-ass grinding horsestuff. A brick wall learning curve isn't "broken." Nothing like that is "broken." Things that are "broken" are actual game mechanics, not the way it's played. |

Things that are "broken" are actual game mechanics, not the way it's played. --- End quote --- it's broken if it prevents new players from getting into the game and enjoying it. tribes 2 has been dying for years because there's almost never any new players because they get utterly annihilated online, and the bots are so idiotic they can't be used for proper practice. several of my friends tried tribes 2 (these are people that play quake 3 and vehicle simulators, mind you) couldn't get into the game because it was a constant curb-stomp on them, but they all love tribes ascend. |
