No. Early ranks aren't difficult to get. They increase in exp requirements so it takes longer to advance the more you play. The cap is at Vice Admiral (lv. 50)

Definitely the main reason I keep playing this game. I love customizing my ship and how I can make characters from scrap. Leaves everything to the imagination.

I use the assimilated borg engines becuase it lets me travel at warp 20 without slipstream, but with it, I travel at 29.93, does the M.A.C.O. engine allow you to do warp 20?
