Isn't the add on system a bit risky?

If you code it pretty well, you can help prevent idiots from doing stupid things better, though.

Answer: yes, they can hide viruses

If one had a virus it would need user interaction to actually do something at the operating system level, such as opening it and and running the virus. Other than that, downloading and installing add-ons, is completely safe for every realm but Blockland's itself.

But then wouldn't the person have to download this gigabytes of crap?
