Any job that involves public construction is in the hands of the mayor.

Private construction would be in the hands of architects, but because players can build themselves, a building job in the private sector would be useless.

Not entirely. You could hire someone to build a house for you if you are not a good builder. But since how good somebody's building skills are is all opinion, I can't think of any way that could be an actual "Job".

yeah, exactly.
People can already build for money anyways, by establishing deals with freelance architects.

If it's done right, you won't get ripped off. Never give the architect the money before the project's complete, and never build for someone unless they give you the money through steps.

I love the idea of the whole building industry, but what protects the builders from screwing up the client's other lots/existing builds?
