To be honest, this is coming from someone who still plays and loves LoL.
DotA 2 is better because it's harder.
Unless I'm with Volga and his friend I ALWAYS get super fed and kill everything in LoL.
In DotA when you die you lose money, enemies can deny their own creeps.
Just little things like that, makes the game more competitive and difficult.

It's not just creeps you can deny. You can deny towers, and you can also deny neutrals. In League, neutrals spawn no matter what, but in DotA, they don't spawn if you have vision of their spawn areas.

Oh wow, nice.
Also DotA 2 has creep pulling, or whatever, where you bring the Neutrals to the creeps to pull the lane back.

You do the same thing for stacking. At I think the 53-second mark, you pull neutrals away from their spawn so that another set spawns.
