Cube world (Too lazy to update so i put in links for forums)
sir dooble:
So, I just spent 30 minutes as a fire-mage dodging in a forest, shooting firebolts at a big boss Orc Warrior woman.
Finally defeat her, after my low-level weapons slowly get to her.
I recieve 10 xp.
This just felt... really really low... for the amount of work I did. There was a lot of dodging and maneuvering, especially as she casts one of those spells that makes an area of ground dangerous to stand in, and she summons Human Fire-Mages (who did the most damage to me).
In that time I probably could've gotten atleast twice, if not three times as much Xp from just killing non-boss regular enemies.
It makes it very slow to level up. I'm only level 3.
Oh well. I got 1 Ice Spirit cube and a few pieces of silver.
Kyro:
Experience seems to be a problem. It just seems to be too low for all the monsters.

I was about to post this, it really does. Although bosses of areas (like ones you get quests for) give a good amount IMO.
quadilious:
i got 23 exp from a boss as a level 2 but then after fighting through an entire palace and fighting a harder boss i only got 10 exp
but a ton of loot

Yes, most definitely.
Pretty much any enemy, no matter how difficult they actually are to face, will generally only give 1 XP, with a rare chance of 2 XP if they happen to be Blue-Labelled enemies.
Orange enemies can give 3-5 XP, but are obviously more difficult.
I'm not sure on Red Enemies, since I've only defeated one with the help of a wandering adventurer (which was really lucky, seeing as how most other times Red Enemies will just destroy whole parties of wanderers).
And if a Blue Boss only gave 10 XP, it's a bit rubbish.
Either enemies need to provide more XP, or the XP requirement for levelling up needs to be reduced.
