Wow. Huge post is huge. But seriously, I understand that just harvesting materials isn't really an RPG (and isn't really all to fun D:), but making AI can get pretty hard, especially when you want to go into detail on what they do. One thing I am currently struggling with making the bots work when i'm not on the server. I know it sounds dumb, but it's harder than you think for some reason.
I know that the monsters need to be more than just attacking and killing them with easy, and i'm working on that. I plan on doing many things with monsters, but here are just a few:
1. Magic Attacks/Skills that the monsters can use to attack the player
2. Monsters harder to kill, but more exp.
3. I guess just generally making the AI better, because (no offense to amade), but bot events kind of suck for dedicated servers because they DONT WORK...
The RPG has come a long way since the beginning, but it still needs more work to make it more realistic. I like your stamina idea, and probably will add that to the game.
I will add an area in the post where I talk about what I am thinking about or already adding to StoneQuest.

Can I has be an NPC? That would be a nice way to gain popularity, methinks, making NPCs for players.

Well, when I make NPCs, they are going to be scripted, not evented. So, I don't really need any help with them unless you know how to script NPCs :P

Chao, what me and Honor are currently working on for DRPG is wild animal system, where an animal will spawn within a radius of you, but disappear if you get too far away. We were just going to use Phydeoux's animal pack, but I am going to ask him first if I can ever get contact with him.
Maybe you should add this idea to Stonequest. Wild animals always improve an RPG.
