I wonder if they plan on adding a sniper rifle or a rocket launcher.
The sniper could have the same power as the rifle but more accuracy, less max rounds, bolt action (Maybe?) and more zoom.
And lets face it, launching rockets at peoples towers would be fun.

I think most of those would make AoS lose its retro feel and add unfairness.
The rifle basically IS a sniper since it raycasts and instakills on headshot, and if it were any more accurate it would be a laser.
Rocket sounds pretty cool, but maybe abusive. If anything it should take a bit of time to prepare and properly aim before it's used, to prevent rocketfights. We'd also need a sidearm to go with it. Can't just survive offa' rockets.
Landmines don't sound like they'd blend well with the 'voxel' map.
I would like armor though. Maybe .. :
- Light armor: Lightest, boosts mobility (little armor)
- Medium armor: Inbetweener. Provides minimal protection against headshots shot from the very top of the head and very minor mobility cost; 15 health boost.
- Heavy armor: Reduces mobility by maybe 10-20%, provides protection against headshots from just below the top of the head; 25 health boost.
Maybe fortification blocks also, like barbed wire.
I could really go for maybe punjii sticks and pitfall blocks or something though.
Just played a round.
Me, my squad and its leader were out in a jungle, trekking towards the enemy's encampment.
Suddenly, amongst the thick brush, we come across a bright cyan house. We hear sounds of metal clanging and so I get sent in to check it out. There, was a blue, apparently digging out a basement for his new home. I swiftly and silently killed him with my spade, and when I walked back out, there lay my squadmates. Dead. Not a sound. I then turn around, and then there's
literally half of Blue staring me in the voxel.
'Twas a trap.
Protip guys, never go into a house that's colored in bright eyerape colors and is half-finished.
