Did you put them in the correct folders? I didn't put them where they should be when I installed it.

I extracted the addon part to garrysmod/garrysmod/addons
and I extracted the gamemode part to garrysmod/garrysmod/gamemodes.

The whole addon folder? Put the "addon" folder in the zip right into Garrysmod\Garrysmod. Same for the gamemode.

Since they're already in a gamemodes and addons folder, all you'd have to do is put them in the garrysmod/garrysmod directory
