A tool can be manipulated easily.  This is semi-true in the case of being wooed by Stocking and etc yadde yadde, but otherwise not really.  This one is 50/50.
A tool can also attempt to fit in, also known as a "try hard".  This includes attempting to seem nice or generous, or to do things for public attention.

There are really a lot of things that a tool can be.  To nail every single definition in one post is very hard to do as it is very much a shotgun-term.

Urban dictionary describes a tool as, "One who lacks the mental capacity to know he is being used. A fool. A cretin. Characterized by low intelligence and/or self-steem." That summarizes the definition fairly well, so now explain how Iban was used.
