if we came from monkeys, why haven't the ones in the zoos turned into humans yet then?
Good question. It's because we didn't come from monkeys. I have no idea why you would think this.

I don't think this

I don't think this
I don't think anybody claimed anyone came from monkeys so I'm not sure why you're asking the question.

you should put Stephen Colbert and some democrats on the poll too

Because anyone blindly following a belief system will immediately assume a simple, stupid stereotype to describe any opposing argument.

I've seen many of Ron Paul's speeches, none of them relate to racism or family values.

I'm biloveual and I support Ron Paul

And he denies evolution lol

why exactly does his beliefs matter in this case anyway?

hes not going to force them on you, so why bother?

Next time try saying whatever you mean instead of pasting some quotes in and leaving it to me to interpret your quote spam because I don't have the time to interpret this bullstuff and will just assume you don't have anything worth saying.
You seem to be confused, evolution doesn't say anything about people coming from monkeys. I don't know where you are getting this from.

I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that the human voice box is so different and more advanced than a monkey's that we really can't be that related in terms of development.

We're not from monkeys.

Period.

We're not from monkeys.
Period.

I didn't say that

I was just adding a statement that certain structures in us are vastly different from monkeys that we couldn't have descended from them as support for that claim

No, we mean it's absolutely correct. Humans did not evolve from monkeys because that's not how evolution works.

this right here makes your whole post invalid
You prefer to listen to the main post that could have been made up at random, than also consider the opinions of others that have read the topic

thats like saying someone posting a topic entitled "New studies show that jumping off a bridge cures cancer" is true no matter what

You wouldn't happen to be saying this because I'm saying monkeys, rather than apes would you?

evolution implies humans have come from monkeys or apes over time

No, I'm not making an argument over your choice of animals.

evolution implies humans have come from monkeys or apes over time
No, it does not. This is a fundamental misunderstanding of evolution on your part.

I'm not an expert on how it is agreed upon how evolution happened, but I'm pretty sure humans evolved seperate of primates, but seem similar because they originated in similar environment. It's kinda like how sharks and dolphins are different species, yet they have fins, gills, and similar bone structures to help fulfill the role of a fast moving ocean carnivore.
