the only difference between legos now and then are the colours
also minifigs

and the fact that:

  • they make stuffty custom bricks for everything, leaving no creativity
  • they are running out of ideas
  • a lot of their newer sets are either movie/video game set or a remake of old ones

You know they are running out of creativity when the only thing they pump out now is lego versions of child-favorite movies.

Avatar, spongebob, cars, toy story, Indiana Jones (Johnny Thunder was the clever parody too before they killed him for Indiana Jones), Pirates of the Caribbean, batman, starwars etc.

And then all the games are completely similar. Batman, starwars, harry potter and all new video games are virtually the same.

yeah
way too many "complex" bricks
there really isn't a need for them

the new star wars sets have stupid bricks and minifigs with down syndrome

Lego my little pony.  :cookieMonster:

I wish they hadn't stopped making Johnny Thunder sets. I mean, I like Indy but just not in Lego form.

I miss the old Bionicles too, like the first and second generations, not Hero cigaretteotry

And not to mention, they stopped Life on Mars and Rock Raiders too. Of course, they had to remake those with Mars Mission and Power Miners, which are utter stuff compared to their parent series.

1997 is my birthyear. :D

But that would literally just be colored horse minifigs...?

Lego Greedy Logic.

Why have a parody of Indiana Jones when we can have the official Lego Indiana Jones sets for twice the price!

they would probably add hair
and those butt tattoos? (i don't watch mlp) as stickers

Hasbro has the lego version known as "kre-o" so they can simply make their own lego pony figures.

Perhaps this with a few tweaks and painted a different color, the eyes and cutey mark(butt tattoo) painted on. And maybe an added horn or wings. That would be cool. I would actually buy an MLP Lego set if they made one.

I forgot about Kre-o. I would love MLP Kre-os.

On another note, the newer ones aren't as creative as they used to be.

Nope.
Whoop, silly me. I thought you were still pretending to be a brony.
