I think it is, mainly because of the weird fandom it spawned.  Literally everything about it is an inside joke, where as with a few other fandoms you can start to grasp their inside jokes easily with enough listening.  Unfortunately with homestuck you have to read the whole thing to be a part of it and it's longer than the Oxford dictionary or whatever.  People go on about how its good but frankly I don't see it.
