Because Aeris cant stand having someone else getting all the attention. Thats why he made his own drama since no one would give him the satisfaction of doing so.

I highly agree. Eventually they'll starve themselves out of attention and do something ban-worthy for our attention, to which we will then acknowledge them and laugh.
