well if your using a mac there's a program called seashore, not sure if windows can use it or not >.>

Or you can use photoshop elements (free) and just select it and hit delete. Either way.

...yes, considering if you're using the paid version, just select the area you want trans'd, hit delete, then save it as a ..... it's either a .jpeg, or .png, only one will work with transparencies.
