how will anyone put out addons?
we'll be forced to use RTB ;-;
not that there's anything wrong with RTB, it's just some people don't use it or whatever

Even if the repositories are shut down, torrents should still remain because they are P2P, correct?

If the above is true, someone could just create a BL torrent repository. It'd be completely legal.

correct.
from what I've heard, the pirate bay can't be shut down because they don't actually host any material on their servers.

AAAAnd i figured out how to do the jpg/png to .rar thing.

I dont see anything wrong with that either,I find it better considering you dont have to,go to each thread just to keep your addons up to date.

Mediafire is my only preferred filesharing site.
Why isn't Rapidshare on that list? Aren't they known for having a bunch of copyrighted stuff available?

I completely forgot about rapid.
I guess they haven't noticed it...
Google should start a uploading site.
They would be invincible, or we could use tortoise svn.
I use it for gmod all the time.

The OP doesn't say what's actually happening with FileSonic. I was looking up things on Google yesterday and was directed to a FileSonic page.

All sharing functionality on FileSonic is now disabled. Our service can only be used to upload and retrieve files that you have uploaded personally.

If this file belongs to you, please login to download it directly from your file manager.

To put it simply, unless you uploaded the file and can log in to the account that uploaded it, you can't access any files. They expect people not giving out log ins since they could just delete the files off the profile, too. The file isn't anywhere else on the internet, apparently.

Mediafire down.

Lots of BL users use Mediafire.

better get those old addons while it's up!

Oh God, no more of that "Private Add-On!" stuff, PLEASE! Someone make an auto-downloader for all Add-Ons with the intent of freely handing them back out.

And move as many of them as possible to RTB, if Ephialtes can handle that.

Now how will I get my mc mods, texture packs, and maps ;(

I really hope that Anon will actually do something about this and that we get our sites back.
