Author Topic: Anonymous to destroy facebook on January 28th, 2012  (Read 2717 times)

Why did the music in the background sound like various clips from a metal rock song and "It Takes Two"?

They crash facebook because they can. Anon is actually around 15 groups of people who all do different things. They aren't very organized. (loving #opmegaupload)

If it was Lulzsec I would be slightly alarmed, but it's anon. Someone will DDOS Facebook, but it probably wouldn't work. Besides, facebook is a nest of handicaps.
Lulzsec is only a fear-mongering script kiddie surrounded by a thousand nyan cat-humping people who think they're cool and edgy for being with him.

Why do you think they sell T-shirts?

They need something to support their botnets with.

Didn't they threaten to crash facebook like five months ago?

Didn't they threaten to crash facebook like five months ago?

Just about any "big bad hacker" group on the internet has threatened to take down facebook at one point.
The worst they can do is just lag the website for a few seconds before their efforts are rammed back up their ass.

Facebook? Naw.

I had a chat with my bud (connections yo) and he stated quite clearly that they aren't doing any of this for publicity. They aren't going to attack Facebook, because Facebook isn't trying to enforce a censorship law on them. Just say goodbye to pretty much every single .gov website

I thought they were going to do that on the 5th of november?

I can second this, someone was going on about it on the irc channel

I don't know who your "connections" are but Anonymous is not one closely-knit group. It's a bunch of random people on the Internet who call themselves Anonymous because it makes them feel special.
The groups your "connections" are in may not be planning something, but other groups or individuals going under the name "Anonymous" could be.

Also if I'm wrong I'm going with this.
Polar opposite arguments forget yeah fight me now.

fake or not. anon hasnt done a thing ever anyways.

You guys will believe anything posted under anonymous.

loving idiots who think anonymous is a group.

Could easily be fake. They keep saying on Twitter that they aren't doing it, and never planned to.
Because some some random guy on Twitter represents all of Anonymous.

No. Any user on any site that doesn't use their real identity is part of "Anonymous".

All it takes is one idiot calling himself "anonymous" making claims like this for people to associate him with some "hacking group" that doesn't exist.
