Markus knocks on the door and peeks inside, one of his katanas ready. "Well, I don't see anything," he reports, walking inside. He's thrown out a few moments later by an angry wolf. You think you can hear more inside.

Markus manages to miss the wolf's body.

The wolf doesn't do too well, either. It at least manages to tear Markus' sleeve.

Despite missing with the first katana, Markus manages to get it near the heart. He throws it off as Stojanow and you ready your weapons. There's a small pack headed your way.

You spread out a few shots towards the pack, but don't seem to do anything.

Stojanow actually manages to severely injure a wolf.

>NAVARO: Stab/slash the next wolf to jump you

You hit nothing at all because you succeeded in missing.

Navaro hits nothing.

Stojanow decides to be useful and manages to hit something. He takes down yet another wolf.

Navaro manages to leave a decent wound on the nearest wolf, but it's not enough to take it down.

The wolf returns the favor with a painful blow to Navaro's chest. If it's not treated soon, he'll deactivate from fluid loss.

You pull off a heroic move and kill Navaro's attacker in a single shot.

>STOJA TARGET: FINAL WOLF
>ROLL RESULT: 5

Stojanow lands the final shot, killing the last wolf.

Well then.

You quickly begin treating Navaro's wound and tell Stojanow to look around for a first-aid kit of some sort. He comes back a few moments later and helps patch up the wound. It'll have to do for now. Navaro mumbles something painfully in that alien language he keeps speaking.

What now?

find refuge in a nearby building and camp out for the night. might as well have a base of operations instead of camping out in the middle of nowhere

Well, the sun IS getting low. Stojanow hands you a flashlight, and you lead the way inside. He follows you, carrying Navaro, who's still mumbling.

The place looks like it hasn't been touched in years, and your sensors can't detect anything dangerous. Stojanow and Navaro settle down while you keep watch. After a little while, they're both asleep and Bot beeps at you.
